A Bob-White Trilogy Part Three |
|
"Madeleine",
the third and final part of "A Bob-White Trilogy", takes place shortly
after the conclusion of "Beatrix". All of the former Bob-Whites
continue to pursue careers and encounter the challenges of being young
adults. Like the first two parts of the anthology, this story includes
the adventures of all the characters created in the original Trixie
Belden Mystery series, but the primary focus is on its title character,
Madeleine Grace "Honey" Wheeler. Her story is that of a young woman
who, after two failed relationships and her parents' seeming
disapproval, attempts to create a new home and a new life in a distant
city. This
